Clove debuted as a Director in May of 2025 with their ambitious uncut version of Romeo & Juliet. With a queer, Bridgerton concept, Clove aimed to capture the essence of queer culture within a period piece, begging the question: how would queer people have influenced a society had they been allowed to live in peace and prosper in their creativity? How would the styles, music, dance, intimate moments, and culture been different if queer people were allowed to live freely?
