In the Summer of 2024, Clove was selected as a Director for Shifted Lens Theatre Company's inaugural Fresh Looks Festival, an event filled with new plays, directed by emerging directors. This was Clove's first live opportunity as Director following their graduation from their Theatre Undergraduate Program. Clove created a fully staged version of the show, with actors reading from scripts in hands, occasionally putting them down for action. Actors sat in 4 chairs along the back of the stage, only vacating their seats for their scenes, sometimes even doing scenes from the chairs. Shortly following this opportunity, Clove booked their live directorial debut in Colorado after training as a Director from 2018-2022.
