100 Planes
by Lila rose Kaplan
100 Planes, by Lila Rose Kaplan, is a newer play that Love began directing alongside Micah Wilborn. It was set to be a Midwestern Premiere of the show, to go up in Frasier Hall, Room 0005, a small Black Box theatre at the University of Northern Colorado, when the COVID-19 Pandemic began, ultimately cancelling the production set to open in April of 2020. However, Love knew that this story was too special to keep from their community and began planning for a reimagined version of the show with Wilborn that would be entirely virtual. Love worked closely with Visual Arts students at UNCo to illustrate the scenes in the play, as well as worked with the original actors of the production to record voice overs that would bring the illustrated scenes to life. Love directed, edited, and produced this virtual show. 100 Planes finally aired April 7-9th 2021 via UNCo's School of Theatre Arts & Dance webpage and Vimeo.
Conception to Closing: November '19 - April '21
