Intimacy Professionalism and Intimacy Directing is new to the theatrical community and atmosphere. An Intimacy Director's ultimate job is to facilitate a bridge between the director's vision for the production and the actors boundaries. Being a Consent Forward Artist means uplifting the "no" as much as the "yes" and honoring creativity in storytelling to aid our maintaining of boundaries and consent.

Clove began intimacy directing when they saw a need for the consent forward practices at their undergraduate theatre school. Clove has taken Level 1 and Level 2 of Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC) Consent Forward Artist Certification Program; which is 40+ hours of virtual training and live online sessions on Intimacy Professionalism. They also have their Intimacy Professional Accelerator Certification; which was a year long virtual program containing 40+ hours of virtual training on intimacy professionalism and choreography, community engagement on a national and international level, and live online skill and mentorship sessions.

They are continuing to pursue an intimacy professional education via IDC's Intimacy Director Certification program; an inperson, week long workshop and the final course of Clove's training. Clove currently works as an intimacy professional and offers the following:
